
BIB 6243 Amos and Hosea: A thorough study of selected Old Testament texts, through verse-by-verse and paragraph-by-paragraph exegesis. The course will emphasize proper hermeneutical methodology leading to theological application with reliance on a Pentecostal perspective. Students may repeat this course if the individual biblical books or collections being studied are not duplicated (Prerequisite: BIB5213).

BIB5213 Old Testament History and Literature (3 Credits):
This course covers the study of the books of the Old Testament. Students learn the authorship, literary genre, historical context, canonical significance, and theology of each Old Testament book. Special focus is given to how each book contributes to the development of Old Testament theology.
